WHO ARE WE?

Sequoia High School Model United Nations

The Model United Nations of Sequoia High School is proud to be the host venue of the Bay Area Model United Nations Conference. The student organization is an inclusive organization for Sequoia High School students interested in politics and international affairs. From coordinating the annual BAMUN conferences to preparing delegates for other Model United Nations experiences, Sequoia MUN strives to educate students about global issues and empower delegates to become better diplomats.

Leaders Christopher Kwok and Nicholas Kwok recognize that MUN provides students the opportunity to develop leadership and collaboration skills valuable for any career. Sequoia MUN is grateful to all its team members, families, and teachers for their active participation and support.

As an outlet for students to engage in Model United Nations, Sequoia MUN hosts a competition team to travel to prestigious conferences across the country. While attending conferences, Sequoia MUN team has garnered numerous awards. For the upcoming year, one of Sequoia MUN's missions is to fundraise for an out-of-state conference.

For Sequoia High School students interested in joining MUN, please email sequoiamun@gmail.com for more information. Sequoia MUN meets every Thursday at lunch in Room 215.
