BAMUNC MARCH 23, 2024

BAY AREA MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE

WHAT IS BAMUNC?

The Bay Area Model United Nations Conference is a middle school and high school Model UN conference in the San Francisco Bay Area coordinated by Sequoia High School and Amador Valley High School. Every spring, the BAMUNC team invites delegates from across the country to engage their diplomacy skills through fruitful debate and resolutions. Founded in 2021 by Christopher Kwok and Nicholas Kwok, the conference empowers diplomats across the West Coast to resolve the unprecedented challenges of the century.

BAMUNC is passionate about spearheading a platform for youth activism. The BAMUNC team aims to forge a legacy of crafting innovative resolutions to solve the world's most pressing problems. By educating delegates about foreign relations, BAMUNC strives to enrich delegates in policymaking and public speaking. Recognizing the educational and social values of Model UN, BAMUNC fosters an amicable community for all diplomats to express their competitiveness while discovering genuine relationships among committee peers.

BAMUNC's fourth annual conference will be in-person in March 2025.
